“The road of life is rocky and you may stumble too. So while you point your fingers someone else is judging you. Could you be – could you be – could you be loved? Bob Marley said it best, “One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
Twenty plus years later, this thrill never gets old. Locking hands with your neighbor, gripping everything in sight just to keep your balance, and feeling the chill and endless flow of water, as it forcefully tries to back you into the Caribbean Sea makes for the perfect day out for the adrenaline junkies. Dunns River Falls is one of Jamaica’s finest treasures. Located in Ocho Rios, a town in the parish of St. Ann, Dunns River Falls stands approximately 1,000 ft (300 m) tall and attracts both tourist and locals alike. Although the beach is readily available, the most popular activity is climbing to the top while relaxing in one of many small lagoons interspersed among the vertical sections of the falls. My first attempt was in 1992 and it’s always one of my first stops whenever traveling though Jamaica.
